General Description
This position is located within the Absentee Shawnee Tribe Health Programs at the Little Axe and/or Shawnee locations as necessary to the needs of the Title VI Program. The primary purpose of this position to assist kitchen staff with routine duties of meal preparation and/or meal services and/or after meal clean up.
ResponsibilitIes
Primary Duties include, but not limited to:
Assists in the preparation and cooking of food in accordance with established procedures and sanitary regulations. Assists in setting up serving line and with distributing food to various areas.
Disassembling of serving line and sanitation of transportation equipment (i.e., storage containers, vehicle, and area(s) of preparation.
Fills trays/food containers for homebound and fills homebound carriers.
Cleans/sanitizes food preparation equipment used and ensure food preparation and service area(s) are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner for the next service day.
Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements and Qualifications
Must meet local health department requirements for food handlers.
Must maintain participant confidentially and be respectful and sensitive to the needs of program participants.
Must de dependable, punctual and display a friendly attitude, willingness to follow instructions and knowledge and observance of safe food handling procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
