General Description
This position is located at the Shawnee Clinic in Shawnee, OK.  The Shawnee Clinic is an outpatient multi-disciplinary clinic established and managed by the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma. The Shawnee clinic is an ambulatory clinic that provides direct care services to Native American patients. The purpose of the position is to provide overall pharmacy assistance to the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Members. This position is under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Customer service
  • Patient check-in and check-out
  • Maintain patient health data confidentiality
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must have the ability to act in a professional manner, and relate well to Tribal Members and the general public.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
  • Must be reliable and prompt, while possessing strong work ethics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Some college required with one to two years experience.
  • Must be extremely knowledgeable about Absentee Shawnee Tribal customs and language.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
