The Executive Committee of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma, in accordance with the Constitution, Article XVI, Section 3, “Executive Committee Meetings” here by calls and declares public notice that the REGULAR meeting of the Executive Committee of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma has been scheduled for Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 10 AM at the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Complex in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
From the Election Commission:
The Election Commission has determined that the Primary Election scheduled for Saturday, March 15, 2025, will not be held based on the fact that there was only one Candidate who filed for office in this year’s election. The Candidate will advance to the June Annual Election. Our decision was based on the legal analysis rendered by AST Attorney General Gary Pitchlynn.
The Annual Election will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The voting polls will be located at:
