After School Program-Horseshoe Bend Accepting Applications •    ASP-HSB for school age children ages 5 years (Kinder) thru 12 years •    For AST Enrolled Children who attend North Rock Creeks Schools •    Summer Program Begins Soon •    Will be Open M-F, 7:30P-5:30P •    Closed when NRC is closed •    ASP-HSB is not DHS Licensed •    Snacks will be provided •    Accepting all children but AST and Native children with CDI B cards will have preference.  AST 477 Program is now taking waiting list applica­tions for the ASP-HSB which will begin soon for school age children who have completed Kinder­garten and up to age 12. This is for AST children who attend North Rock Creek Schools or live in the area. 2025 Summer Internship Are you a Native American student who is seeking a future in a healthcare related field? Available internships - 12 internships positions Date range - June 2 - July 25th (8 week program) Hours - An average of 20 hours a week Pay - $13 per hour ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Must be Native American (AST Preferred) with a valid CDIB card Current GPA of 3.0 or above preferred Must be a High School Senior (Class of 2025) or current College/Vo-Tech student Must be between the age of 18-24 years old Must be available Monday - Friday 8a-5p, there may be some evenings and weekends  Must be available the first two weeks of the internship HOW TO APPLY Applications can be found on the AST Tribal Website at ASTRIBE.COM or ASTHEALTH.ORG under “Employment” or “Careers”. From the Election Commission: The Election Commission has determined that the Primary Election scheduled for Saturday, March 15, 2025, will not be held based on the fact that there was only one Candidate who filed for office in this year’s election. The Candidate will advance to the June Annual Election. Our decision was based on the legal analysis rendered by AST Attorney General Gary Pitchlynn. The Annual Election will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The voting polls will be located at:  The Little Axe Resource Center on Peebly Road, 1970 156th Ave NE, Norman, Oklahoma  The AST Health Multipurpose Building, 2029 James L Edwards Lane, on the Tribal Complex in Shawnee, Oklahoma The polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at both locations. The Absentee Ballot Request form will be available beginning April 1, 2025:  AST tribal newsletter  AST website  Election Commission Office, Building 2 (Governor’s Building) at the tribal complex.
