The Communications & Design Specialist supports the Public Relations team by creating visually engaging materials and assisting with the planning, scheduling, and management of digital content. This role combines graphic design, social media coordination, and content support to help promote programs, services, and organizational initiatives across multiple platforms.

• Design and produce high-quality graphics for social media, print materials, newsletters, presentations, and internal communications.
• Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across social media platforms.
• Maintain and organize a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent messaging.
• Support the development of campaigns, promotions, and awareness initiatives.
• Ensure all designs and communications align with organizational branding and messaging standards.
• Collaborate with departments to gather content, promote events, and highlight services.
• Monitor social media engagement and assist with basic analytics and reporting.
• Make updates or revisions to existing materials as needed.
• Provide general support to the Public Relations team
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Graduate or GED; Associates Degree or technical training preferred.
• 3-5 years progressive experience in print production/graphic design.
• Minimum of 2 years preferred.

• Strong computer skills, ideally with experience using Windows-based PC and other relevant printing and graphics programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with awareness of deadlines.
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.

• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend or kneel for long periods of time.
• Sitting or standing or walking for long period of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking hearing and visual acuity.
• Frequent lifting (up to 30 lbs)
• Occasional lifting (up to 60 lbs)
