The primary function of the ICW Director is to provide Indian Child Welfare Liaison Services within the Absentee Shawnee Community as well as providing consultative services to Oklahoma State and County Agencies working with Absentee Shawnee children and families. ICW Director provides case management services to children and families of the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Community and represents the Tribe at community gatherings, local, county and state meetings where the Tribe has an interest. The ICW Director will assist Tribal members with gaining access to all necessary services both internal and external to the Tribe. This position requires excellent attendance, good communication skills as well as uncompromised attention to Client Confidentiality and detail. Must advocate for and facilitate the proper implementation of the ICW Act.
Strong Grant management, writing skills and knowledge is required. Oversees and manages ICW office.
