Able to perform under pressure; able to perform job duties in a high stress environment; may involve physical altercations with non-compliant suspects.
Investigating crime scenes, surveying crime scenes and formulating a plan of action for processing, identifying, collecting, and documenting crime scene trace evidence from firearms, blood spatters, etc. Photographing, a crime scene, by applying professional photographic techniques. Prepare a detailed report of the investigation and maintain records and case files of all evidence and information acquired.
Submit fingerprints to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations for submission into the Automated Fingerprint Identification System Database.
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications
High School Graduate or GED equivalent. Associates degree preferred
Must be CLEET/BIA certified.
Selected applicants must pass extensive background investigation, psychological test, physical training test, and drug screen. This position is a physically active and high stress position.
21 years of age or older.
No Felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for crimes of domestic violence or crimes of moral turpitude.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License

Have good physical strength and stamina;
Be independent, responsible and self-disciplined;
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Sitting or standing or walking for long period of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking hearing and visual acuity.
