General Description

The incumbent is responsible and accountable for performing educational and investigative work regarding the coordination and management of drug & violent crimes investigations in and/or around tribal casinos and trust land.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • General administration and ongoing development of all drug & violent crime investigation activities.
  • Facilitate investigations, enhance inter-agency coordination, and share intelligence with multiple jurisdictions.
  • Provide additional manpower and equipment to local law enforcement agencies for the aforementioned investigations.
  • Assist in case management of violent crime-related cases as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or GED equivalent. Associate's degree preferred
  • Must be CLEET/BIA certified.
  • Must possess two years of law enforcement experience.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain instructor-level certifications.
  • Selected applicants must pass an extensive background investigation, psychological test, physical training test, and drug screen. This position is physically active and high-stress.
  • No Felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for crimes of domestic violence or crimes of moral turpitude.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Have good physical strength and stamina; 
  • Be independent, responsible, and self-disciplined; 
  • Ability to lift 50lbs. 
  • Sitting or standing, or walking for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
