General Description
To be responsible for all activities of the project. Regular reports will be made to the funding agency stating the activities accomplished and where the activities are located on the timeline. The SORNA Compliance Officer will be responsible to secure the wellness and safety of the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Community.
Responsibilites
 1.) Responsible for all the grant activities.
2.) Work with the Finance Department to assure the financial structure of the grant is well maintained.
3.) Prepare reports for the SMART Program Manager and the AST Police Chief in a timely manner.
4.) Work with procurement to provide all travel and training sessions for the Sex Offender Response Team and attend all conferences and training as required under this project.
5.) Work closely with the other law enforcement agencies and facilitate activities to reach the goals and objectives of the project in a timely manner.
6.) Work as a co-leader with the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Deputy on the SORNA Sex Offender Response Team as outlined in the project.
7.) Assure the ASTPD Sex Offender Registry Notification Act is implemented and all codes are followed.
8.) Increase Sex Offender compliance through Compliance Sweeps and Sex Offender Group Sessions. (Contract & monitor treatment activities)
Desirable Knowledge or Abilities
 1.) Ability to plan & execute duties and work well with others.
2.) Knowledge and use of good judgment with the ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral; with reverence of the Absentee Shawnee Police Department.
3.) Knowledge and use of computers and the programs necessary to perform the duties set forth in the grant application.
4.) Good coordination skills to effect meetings with notices, agendas and minutes of the meetings to the Sex
 Offender Response Team.
Education Requirements

1.) High School Diploma and experience in law enforcement.

2.) Background in coordination of Services.
3.) Cleet Officer training & permission for an OSBI background check.
4.) Must posses a valid Oklahoma Drivers License.
