Provides a variety of housekeeping and maintenance duties, such as picking up trash, mopping, vacuuming rooms and halls, carpet cleaning, dusting, and cleaning glass doors.  Clean stools, mop floors and clean wash basins in restrooms daily.  Service tissue, towel and soap dispensers in rest rooms when needed.  Does routine maintenance work as needed such as hinge repairs, changing ceiling tiles, mowing, weed eating, assemble equipment, repair outside equipment, etc.  Reports equipment and/or mechanical problems to supervisor.  May also help in food prep area as needed.  Performs other duties as assigned.

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Service, clean, or supply restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
• Gather and empty trash in office areas and common areas.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Cleaning windows, windowsill and dusting office and common areas
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals
• Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment at all times
• Inventory and restock cleaning supplies
• Seasonal deep cleaning maintenance as needed in offices and common areas, such as shampoo carpets, strip floors, clean base boards etc.
• Routine maintenance/handy man work for entire center and property.
• Properly operate maintenance/housekeeping equipment such as mower, edger, drill, floor scrubber, carpet cleaner, etc.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operation of organization.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED or can obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques and standards.
• One year of housekeeping experience or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, and bend  
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Skilled in following verbal and written instructions.
• Must have food handler’s permit.
• Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass drug screening and criminal background check including fingerprinting.
