General Description

Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Director & staff on all personnel matters.  Performs clerical duties to ensure the accurate and timely processing of personnel information.  Duties may include processing applications for employment, maintaining employee benefit records and personnel files, performing simple mathematical calculations, answering phones and responding to general inquiries. Supports human resources processes by administering required tests; scheduling appointments and maintaining records and information.   Reporting skills, maintaining employee files, dependability, organization, scheduling, confidentiality, independence, verbal communication, teamwork, and Microsoft Office skills essential to the success of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains , files papers and documents into appropriate employee files and Conducts audits of employee files
  • Assists HR staff with various research projects and/or special projects.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by HR staff
  • Keeps and maintains notes for department meetings
  • Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence.
  • Prepares new employee files.
  • Processes mail
  • Answers phones and transfers to appropriate staff, greets public and directs them to correct staff member
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies
  • Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced
  • Performs work related errands as requested by HR staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Qualification requirements

  • Associate's Degree  and or a minimum of 1-3 years of experience required
  • Business college training an advantage
  • Previous office experience required
  • Computer and internet skills including MS office
  • Organization and planning and great written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
  • Must have a valid Oklahoma Drivers License; be able to pass a background and drug test. Native Preference
