General Description
This position is located at the LSWN Clinic, Little Axe, OK. The LSWN Clinic is an outpatient multi-disciplinary clinic established and managed by the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma. The LSWN clinic is an ambulatory clinic that provides direct care services to Native American patients. The purpose of the position is to provide overall pharmacy assistance to the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Members. This position is under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist.
Responsibilities & Duties
Accurately prepare medication orders under the direction of a pharmacist, i.e. measure, mix, count, label
May measure, mix, count out, label, record amounts and dosages of medications.
Must be computer literate.
Experience in inventory control
Must have the ability to act in a professional manner, and relate well to Tribal Members and the general public.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
Must be reliable and prompt, while possessing strong work ethics.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Must be a certified Pharmacy Technician.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Native American Preference/EEO/Drug Free /Smoke Free Workplace
Hours: Every other week-end (Sat/Sun 9-5)
