General Description
The HAF Coordinator provides supportive services to participants and their families with their overall goal of increasing housing stability. The HAF Coordinator manages the daily operations of the assistance program for eligible participants and ensures integrity of the program.
Responsibilities
Responsible for day-to-day operations of the HAF Housing Program and reports directly to the Executive Committee regarding the program’s progress.
Maintains confidential records and statistical information for reporting on each family served.
With the advice and approval of the Executive Committee, formulates and implements procedures and recommends policies designed to enhance the effectiveness of the program and to further the goals, policies and initiatives of the program.
Review applications, forms and conducts intakes with program applicants.
Determine program eligibility and communicate eligibility decisions with applicants.
Provide ongoing support and communication with HAF program participants.
Works closely with Finance and Executive Committee to maintain working knowledge of program budget.
Coordinate collection of program data and reporting information.
Complete and submit reports.
Maintains regular office hours for meeting with participants to make it easier for the client to receive assistance. May be required to make special arrangements to meet with participants.
Other duties as assigned including those of a higher classification for a limited period of time.
Education Requirements
Associate degree (A. A.) or 2-4 years of employment in the housing field or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Native American Preference/EOE/Drug Free Workplace.
